The Beginning of Green was the first of the two pieces to be conceived. It sprang from the co-existence of endurance and fragility transparently evident in the Australian landscape. The Beginning of Green is a "plan" for detaining and digesting energy. The other half of the story had to be converting the energy to mass. The Rising of Suns is a "plan" for that moment.
